How can I end the ride?

Always end your ride in an area where parking is allowed.
Once you're at an authorized parking location, tap “End ride” in the app.
Lower the kickstand to ensure the vehicle stands securely.
Additionally, manually lock the rear wheel:

  • Pull out the pin located at the rear fender.

  • Insert it into the side wheel lock.

  • If it doesn't click into place, gently roll the bike forward and try again – you should hear a clicking sound.

If you're unable to end your ride, please try the following:

  • Check the parking area: Make sure you are not in a no-parking zone, restricted zone, or outside the allowed operating area. Check the map in the app and move to a permitted parking zone.
    Avoid attempting to park in restricted zones, as the app will not allow the ride to be ended, and you may incur a fine.

  • Parking area full: If the app indicates that the parking area is full and you can’t find a spot, tap on “Find parking”to be guided to the next available parking zone.
    A parking area is considered full when the number of Dott bikes has reached the limit set by the local authorities — even if there seems to be physical space.

  • Check your mobile data or Wi-Fi connection: Turn it off and on again to ensure it is working properly.

  • Stay close to the vehicle: Stand directly next to the bike or scooter. Moving away may weaken the connection.

  • Move the vehicle slightly: Shift it a few meters to the left or right to help the GPS find a more accurate location.
