For each booking, the system first considers all credits that:
- are still valid,
- have not already been reserved for another booking, and
- may be used for all services included in the respective booking.
The credits are then ranked according to the following criteria:
- Priority (ascending)
- Expiration date (earliest expiration date first)
The credits are then automatically applied to the booking in this order.
Our goal is to use credits with the strictest restrictions first. This prevents specific credits from expiring while more generally applicable credits are still available.
Within the same priority level, credits that expire sooner are used first.
This procedure yields the best results in most cases. In rare exceptions, however, the automatic selection may differ from personal preference. For example, a credit with higher priority may be used even though a generally applicable credit expires sooner.
