There are various reasons why the e-scooter slows down.
You could be outside the riding area. If this happens, check your map and move back towards it. If you leave the riding area, your vehicle’s electric assistance will be deactivated and you will have to manually move the vehicle back towards it, where the assistance will be reactivated. If you continue to ride outside the riding area, your vehicle may lock.
You could be in a low speed zone. These zones are coloured yellow in the app map. If you enter a low-speed zone, your Dott may automatically slow down.
Your vehicle could have low battery. Find the closest parking spot in the app map to end your ride.
